Effective January 16th, 2026 the scale will be closing at 330 pm on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On Sunday it will close at 1230pm. Please plan accordingly.

Re: Demolition Material Rate Adjustment Effective July 1, 2026

Dear Select Board Members,

Please accept this letter as formal notification of an adjustment to the demolition (demo) disposal rate at Norway Paris Solid Waste Transfer Station.

Effective July 1, 2026, the rate for demolition material disposal will increase to $0.22 per pound.

This adjustment is necessary due to the continued rise in disposal costs, transportation expenses, operational overhead, and market conditions affecting construction and demolition debris processing. After careful review of current expenditures and projected costs, this rate change is necessary to maintain the financial stability and operational efficiency of the facility while continuing to provide reliable waste management services to both communities.

We remain committed to operating the facility responsibly, efficiently, and in the best interest of the Towns of Norway and Paris. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we adapt to changing industry and operational demands.
